The Cell Church Planting Foundation was formed in 2002 by the board of directors for TOUCH¨ Outreach Ministries, Inc. It currently resides under TOUCH¨ Outreach Ministries' 501c-3 non-profit status. All funds are invested in cell-based church planting efforts, with no funds being used for administrative costs. Mission The mission of the CCPF is to support cell-based church planting movements and individual cell church plants throughout the world by providing printed resources and training on pastoral, leader and member levels. Goal The goal of CCPF is to successfully support cell-based church planters in ways that their denomination or sending organization cannot provide. In many cases, it is helping the pastor learn how to develop an implementation team. In other cases, it is providing discipleship and leadership development resources the church cannot afford in its infancy. In yet other cases, the goal is to help fund the church planter who must translate and print resources that can be used in the native language where he or she is currently serving. Why support cell-based church planting efforts? A vast majority of denominationally-funded church plants die within the first two years. Imagine how hard it would be to plant a non-traditional church like a cell-based church! Who decides how to spend the monies you give? The board of directors for TOUCH Outreach Ministries currently makes these decisions. They are godly men and women who have devoted their lives to pastoring cell-based churches, and names you'd recognize instantly. Among them is Ralph Neighbour, Jr., the founder of TOUCH Outreach and Larry Kreider of DOVE Christian Fellowship International. Currently, the CCPF is directed by Randall Neighbour, President of TOUCH Outreach Ministries. As the CCPF grows and can survive on its own, a new board will be formed to insure the monies are invested into the right churches. There's one thing you need to knowÑCCPF funds are not used to pay for any salaries or for administration of the foundation. All monies are invested into CCPF projects in such a way as there is no waste or misuse of funds. Past Projects In recent years, the CCPF has sponsored cell church planters from Sri Lanka and India so they could attend the annual Cell Church Missions Network Summit, hosted by Ben Wong in Hong Kong. We've also donated video projectors to two church plants as needed for worship services. It has been a tremendous blessing to do this for church planters, who are often working tirelessly, with little to no pay, and against great odds! We consider our contribution as one more way to level the playing field and give the church plant a fighting chance at survival. The Malawi Project The current project for the CCPF is to train cell church planters in Malawi and supply them with basic discipleship resources in their native language. Randall Neighbour, President of TOUCH Outreach travelled to Benoni, South Africa in September of this year and go into Malawi with a team.
Our South African Partner TOUCH Outreach is partnering with The Global Apostolic Partnership to provide the training and cell group resources for the pastors in Malawi. Please visit their web site and see how they are making a difference! How you can become a part of the Malawi project
