Sandy's cell group has a problem, and while it's the best kind of problem to have, it's still a problem!

Sandy invited an unbelieving friend (Francis) to a cell meeting. It was obvious that Francis fell in love with the group at first sight, and within a few weeks, recommitted her life to Christ. Sandy began to disciple her, helping her find freedom from strongholds, learn to hear God, and share the Good News with others.

[Important Note: The intern/apprentice and rest of the cell group was excited about Francis. These members had been Christians for many years, but had never been discipled or been in a cell group where lost people actually came to Christ and joined the group. Truth be told, they too needed to be discipled and were just "old" babes in Christ themselves. The church has launched a discipleship track for all the members, and some of Sandy's group is involved and others aren't motivated to get with their accountability partner and get moving.]

Here's where Sandy's problem gets thick... Francis brought a married couple to the group three weeks ago, long time friends who live next door to her. They too fell in love with the group and a new set of friends who were genuine, and accepted Christ when Fran shared how her life has been turned right-side up by her new friends and relationship with Jesus.

Sandy challenged Fran to meet with the couple and invest in them the way Sandy has been doing with her, but Fran is too scared to do it, saying she's only been a "real" Christian a month.

Sandy (and her intern/apprentice) are feeling overwhelmed! What advice would you give Sandy? What can Sandy's coach do to help? What resources from Sandy's church should be employed here?

Summary:
* Group is filled with undiscipled Christians in their first cell group experience.
* Relational evangelism is taking off.
* Sandy and the intern are feeling overwhelmed with all the discipleship and mentoring that is required.

I'm fascinated that no one has made any observations or suggestions about this scenario... it's quite common. What advice would you give Sandy

Well, you´re cell is actually growing and so do you! That's really great! But, Why are you so alone? where is your Up line leaders? If you don't... oh! oh! We still God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit in order to help us. You're doing a great deal if you do not faint before the challenge of equiping this group.
*Try to identify the levels of maturity in God that each one of the group is. It can help you to understand what's up in the cell.
*Make groups of three to pray and help each other during the week.
*Start mentoring not only those who seems to ready to but also those who want to grow as a leader.
*Prepare the childreen; the youngs; other to be father/mother.
*Read the books presented in this site, pray in all time, act.
You will see your group growing daily!
Strength in Jesus,
Paulo
