What is the step-by-step process of buying and using a TOUCH ebook?

Find an ebook, add it to your cart, and complete the checkout process using a credit card.
Download your ebooks at the end of your order (sample below):
Wait for a confirmation email from us. We will process your payment and set you up on our ebook server during business hours.
Your confirmation email will come from support@ebookdeliverysystem.com. This email contains links and an attachment required to open and use your ebooks. Please look in your spam folder before contacting us!
Download and install the Locklizard reader (links found below).

Windows Reader (2000, 2003, XP, Vista, and Windows 7)

Apple Mac Reader (OS 10.4 or higher)

After you run the installer, check your programs/applications folder for a new program called "Locklizard." If you do not find it, run the installer again.
Double-click on the license key file attached to the email you received. It will say "you have successfully installed the Locklizard reader sofware and you can now read ebooks from TOUCH Publications."
Your ebook(s) will now open and can be read on screen or printed.
DO NOT "TEST PRINT" OR PRINT A PARTIAL PAGE RANGE. Unless specified otherwise, our ebooks have a one-shot printing opportunity built into them. This means you must choose "print all pages" when you print the first time because you cannot come back and print the balance of the book at a later time without paying additional fees to TOUCH ($2 per printing, regardless of page range printed).

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I read my ebook immediately after I download it?

No. We must process your payment first. Ebooks purchased after 3 pm CST, weekends, or holidays may be processed for payment on the following business day. Ebooks purchased between 9 am and 3 pm Monday-Friday CST will be activated before the end of business that day. We will email you when your payment has cleared.

What can I do with my ebook?
You can read it on one computer and print it one time (unless you bought a multi-print edition of the ebook).

What is not permitted?

You cannot transfer the ebook to another computer and you will not be able to print the ebook as much as you like without paying extra fees. You also cannot print out a chapter at a time (so print the whole book the first time you open the print dialog box).

Will it work on my Mac? How about my PC?

Yes! Our ebooks can be used on a computer running Windows (XP, Vista, 7) or a Mac OS 10.4 or higher.

Will it work on my Sony/Kindle/iPad/HP ebook device?

No. The secure files are in ".pdc" format and requires the Locklizard proprietary reader for Macs or Windows operating systems.

I forgot to download my ebooks! How do I access them?
Log into our shopping cart system and then scroll to the bottom to "downloads." If you're already logged in, you will find a link called "My Account" in the top right hand corner of the web page in the resource area of the TOUCH web site.

May I freely copy the printout of my ebook?

No. This would break US and International copyright laws just like copying pages of a traditionally printed book.

Can I print my ebook on two sides (duplex printing)?

If your printer has this option, choose it in the print dialog box. To do this on less capable printers, you must print the even or odd pages, contact us and purchase a $2 printing, and we will add another print permission to the ebook and you can print the odd or even pages. We are unable to increase your print rights on our end before you exhaust them.

How do I buy additional printing rights for my ebooks?
Contact us and we will electronically increase your printing license remotely for $2 per copy.
