ABOUT THE AUTHOR:Randall Neighbour grew up in holistic small groups (cell groups) as his father, Ralph Neighbour, Jr. experimented with groups and learned what would and would not work in a Western society. His first leadership opportunity was in high school in the 1970's, where he led a cell group. This first cell leadership experience was very fruitful—through the love and hard work of his group, six of his close friends dedicated their lives to Christ.
Randall met his wife Etna at a cell group in the mid 1980's, and were married in 1986. Since then, Etna and Randall have been leading and coaching small groups and cell groups. Today, Randall is the President of TOUCH Outreach, and serves as a Lifegroup coach at the Houston Vineyard. He is the author of
Community Life 101, Are You Fishing With A Net?,
A Pocket Guide to Coaching Small Groups, and
The Naked Truth About Small Group Ministry. He also compiled and edited
303 Icebreakers.
Randall's writing style is that of a friend, sharing truths through real-life stories of working with people. He's often humorous, and never dull!
